Casca is one of the seventeen provinces in Vitosium.
The province is home to a number of individuals that worked as musicians, in the performing arts, and/or the visual arts. Casca has long been a centre for artistic and cultural excellence and is home to avant-garde visual art and traditional crafting, writing and publishing, and film industries. Due to there being four world-class universities (Aviron, Graycott, Marilves and Rovilieri), the province has been nicknamed the "Knowledge Province", as well as "Success Boulevard" due to Matinio Square. Matinio Square in Granelton has been called "one of the most innovative square miles on the planet", in reference to the high concentration of entrepreneurial start-ups and quality of innovation which have emerged in the vicinity of the square. Graycott University in Granelton is the oldest institution of higher learning in Vitosium, with the largest financial endowment of any university in the nation, and Graycott Law School has educated a contemporaneous majority of Justices of the Supreme Court of Vitosium.
