The president, currently Fjedor Alesk, serves as the head of state, while the prime minister, currently Simy Brasa, serves as the elected head of government.
The government of Seketan has existed in its current form since 1978, however a Seketese state and legislative parliament have existed since the 9th century and 1537 respectively.
