Ein (えいん, /eheen/), is one of the most influential, and largest cities in the Empire of the Tao. It has served as the Taoist capital since 1600. The urban area houses the seat of the Taoist Chancellory, House of Chancellors, and the House of Representatives. The city of Ein forms part of the Prefecture of Ein southern side of the Tao's main landmass. Ein was temporarily named New Fêlsina when the Steltens made the city the headquarters of the Stelten colonial territory of the Tao. It became the capital of the Aznazian territory of the Tao; at that time New Fêlsina was renamed back to Ein. When the Republic of the Tao achieved freedom from the Aznazians in 1903, the government decided to keep Ein as the capitol, continuing to hold the position till today.
