Kyldigard (Kyld: Klgard [klɡəθd]), officially The Kyldigardian Confederation of Cantons, is a multi-ethnic confederated republic located in northwestern/northern Pelia, strattling the edge of the (?*) Mountains. To its west is the Kesper Sea and to its north is the Northern Ocean(*) Its capital city is Moremist, and it has a population of about 27,000,000 Kyldigardian citizens and an unconfirmed number of both autonomous indigenous community residents and undocumented refugees. The Confederation is made up of 31 incorporated cantons, 9 autonomous indigenous communities, 2 autonomous states, 1 free state and 3 independent cities. Prior to 1597 AR (the year of the establishment of the Sixth and current iteration of the Confederation), the confederation was also divided up into 43,230 sub-cantonal divisions. As a country formed by religious refugees, Kyldigard is very liberal in their application of their de-facto state religion, Relyenism.
