Lorzepk originates from two root words, Lorz (Łorz/Ľoř) comes from old legend of Grandmother Lorz, which in the legend brought Lorz people to Lorzepk, and -epk comes from suffix meaning "land". Lorzepk can be translated like "Land of the Lorz (people)".
