The 2019 World Cup, also called the 2019 Emerald World Cup, was an international football tournament contested by men's national teams and took place between 1 April to May 2nd, 2019 in Emerald, Zamastan. It was the 41st World Cup, a worldwide football tournament held once every year. It was the 4th time the championships had been held in Zamastan. At an estimated cost of over Z$27.2 billion, it was the most expensive world cup ever, and it was hosted in four stadiums, seeing 16 teams participating in elimination rounds. Zamastan, the host nation, won the Cup in a final game against Avergnon, beating them 4-1.
