Louise, Duchess of Köstritz and Duchess of Roazhon (Louise Marie Johanna Sophie; b. 3 May 1982) is an Latin-born socialite of Liothidian descent and member of the deposed Liothidian imperial family. She is Duchess of Roazhon by virtue of her marriage to Prince Riocus, Duke of Roazhon.

She is the eldest child of Prince Louis Ferdinand, Duke of Rahdenburg and his first wife Marie, Duchess of Köstritz. Her paternal great-great grandparents are Heinrich III of Liothdia and Princess Diana of Latium, who were the last Kaiser and Kaiserin of Liothidia, while her maternal grandfather, Gottfried VI of Köstritz was the last Duke of Köstritz, and her mother was last of the Köstritz line. Louise first married Liothidian-exile Rudolf, Duke of Holbæk in 2000, and had one child, Frederick. She later married Prince Riocus, Duke of Roazhon, in 2007, with whom she has three children.

Louise is a graduate of Castellum College, Castellum and businesswoman, having founded Köstritz Services in 2006. She is patron and founder of numerous charities including The Duchess of Köstritz Foundation. Since her marriage to Prince Riocus, Duke of Roazhon, Louise has become involved in Gelonian-based charities.

Early life and career

Louise Marie Johanna Sophie was born on 3 May 1982, in Adrianople, Latium, as the eldest child and daughter of Louis Ferdinand, Prince of Liothidia and his first wife Marie, Duchess of Köstritz. She was baptized into the Fabrian Church in June 1982, at the Yarden River, near Hayan, Sydalon. Her godparents are Latin Empress Diana Augusta (her father's third cousin), and King Jordan IX of Sydalon (her father's cousin).

At a young age, Louise was taught Liothidian by her mother, whom was adamant on ensuring her children could fluently converse in their ancestral language, according to family friends. Though born in Latium, Louise was set to begin her schooling in Loweport, Arthurista but relocated to Castellum ab Alba after her mother's death in 1986. She attended Lyceum Sanctus Michaelis, in Castellum ab Alba for her primary and secondary schooling. She intended to attend university after secondary school, though she did not attend university until after the death of her husband. In 2003, she enrolled at Castellum College, Castellum. She graduated in 2006 with a degree in international management and business.

In 2006, she created Köstritz Services, which focused on growing women's rights, and primarily with aiding women earn elective office and equal pay. In 2007, she formed The Duchess of Köstritz Foundation to support woman who were victims of domestic violence. She is no longer active in her business or charity, though serves on the board of directors for each and collects her primary income from Köstritz Services.

Marriage to Rudolf, Duke of Holbæk

In summer 1997, Prince Louis Ferdinand, Duke of Rahdenburg announced that Louise was betrothed to fellow Liothidian-exile Rudolf, Duke of Holbæk. Louise and Holbæk were married in April 2000 at Cathedral of the Holy Sepulchre, in Sydalon, in a ceremony officiated by Patriarch of Sydalon, Giljan Altair. Louise and Holbæk primarily resided in Loweport throughout their marriage, though reports from individuals close to both comment that the marriage was rocky from the start. Louise gave birth to the their first and only child, Frederick, in 2003.

On 19 June 2005, Louise and Holbæk were in a car accident in Ostracine, Sydalon. Holbæk died as a result of the accident, fueling conspiracy theories, some promoted by Louise and her father, that the Liothdian government was responsible for the accident and attempted murder of Louise and her family.

Marriage to Prince Riocus

On 2 August 2008, The Duchy of Roazhon announced the engagement of Louise and Prince Riocus, Duke of Roazhon, younger brother of King Arthur XI of Gelonia. Louise and Roazhon first met in 2002 during the Festival of the Flowers, in Royaumeix, Vannois. Initially, Gelonian-based tabloids reported of an affair between Louise and Roazhon, though the Gelonian Royal Family was eventually able to have the stories retracted after a lengthy legal battle in which Louise and Roazhon were awarded a total of $300,000 in damages.

They were married on 7 September 2009, at Saint-Brieuc Basilica, in Oxonia, in a ceremony attended by representatives from Belisarian royalty and local nobility. By Gelonian law, they were married in a civil ceremony the following day at the Superior Court for Eastern District of Oxonia. The religious ceremony, and subsequent procession were televised by local Gelonian broadcasters.

She and Roazhon have four children: Princess Aven (b. 2 March 2010), Prince George (b. 20 February 2012), Prince Alan (b. 9 March 2015); and Prince Riothamus (b. 31 January 2018).

Personal life

Liothidian controversies

Louise is a vocal critic of the current Liothidian government, and has been linked to a number of controversies surrounding it's intelligence services. In 2005, she accused the Liothidian government of murdering her husband, Rudolf, Duke of Holbæk, and the attempted murder of herself and her son. In 2006, Louise also accused Liothidia of the 1986 murder of her mother, which was previously claimed by Prince Louis Ferdinand, Duke of Rahdenburg.

In 2018, Liothidian state media accused Louise of being the “pre-eminent mind and voice of the those outside our borders who harbour century-old desires to destroy the revolution, rip power from the people’s hands and return them to a tiny select few, empowered through nothing but blood,” referring to Louise as the "Duchess of Nowhere". She was cited in the 2018 trial of former Central Committee member, Horst Kald, as meeting with Kald during a September 2018 meeting.
