The Parthenian Parliament is the 40-members large assembly representing national governments of the Parthenian Economic Union. It, along with the Parthenian Parliament constitute the legislature of the said union.

Non-voting representatives 12

Each member state of the Union nominates three members, two are elected within the national parliament and one is appointed by the national government. If the national parliament is bicameral, each chamber elects one member; if the national parliament is unicameral, the single chamber elects both members apportioned to the nation. With 13 member states, a total number of members in the Senate is equal to 40.

Senators' terms are synchronised with that of the organ nominating them. An election must take place to nominate a new senator once the chamber which appointed them starts a new convocation. If there are no seperate convocations or terms in the nominating chamber, senators terms is limited to 5 years, however the terms can be renewed indefinitely. The term of the government-nominated senator is tied to the term of the governmental cabinet. If there are no seperate terms of the cabinet, the term of the senator is tied to that of the prime minister.

Besides this, the senators are subject to possible recalls and replacements if the nominating chamber passes a vote of no confidence on them, allowing the organ to replace them if they oppose the interests of the said organ.

Outside of this, there is one mandate reserved for the Association of Parthenian Overseas Lands, which is appointed by the Ministerial Conferrence of APOL on their annual meeting.
