  1. Licenses may be easily acquired by those who need them, such as farmers and sport shooters, but are not generally granted for self-defence (except to those in extreme distress). There are no requirements as to how shotguns should be stored in the home, what capacity magazines are acceptable, where they may be transported, and such of the like.

  3. One's license to carry a gun is directly tied to the registration of that weapon. Thus, there is no technical 'license to carry', meaning that the loss of said weapon does not premit you to wield another. Each weapon must go through the tightly regulated process of training, background checks, and registration.
