The politics of Seketan take place in a framework of parliamentary democracy within a unitary constitutional republic. Seketan has been described as a "flawed democracy".
The government of Seketan has existed in its current form since 1978, however a Seketese state and legislative parliament have existed since the 9th century and 1537 respectively.
