Anita Lindas Vetra (born 16 January 1944; aged 75), also known in Mascylla, Lilienburg and much of the western world as Emily Kohlberg, was a Hytek spy, assassin and double agent in Lilienburg during the Great Game. Regarded as one of the most prolific and experienced spies of her generation, Vetra joined Hytekojuznia's militant intelligence service, the League of the Red Fists, in 1967, when she was 23. She quickly rose the ranks as a member of the Red Fists and was involved in the dismantling and arrests of many right-wing underground organisations within Hytekia throughout the late-1960s.
Her work continued to grow in importance until she was selected as the sole agent to participate in Operation Dai-Yosai in 1971, the operation that resulted in the assassination of one of the last remaining heirs to the Hytek throne, Erik von Melderis, while he was living in exile in Königsreh, Mascylla. Her beauty and finesse as both a waitress and a barmaid allowed her easy access to the exiled royal, and on July 18, 1971, Erik von Melderis was killed by a gunshot wound to the head shot by the 27-year-old Vetra. She returned to Hytekojuznia the next day and was hailed a hero by her Red Fist associates. Dai-Yosai marked the end of the generation of the Hytekojuznik royal bloodline of the House of Melderis to grow up before the revolution, a long-term goal of Viliks since he had established the People's State in 1916.
Vetra laid low through the rest of the 1970s until 1978, where she was again selected to participate in Operation Shackle, and was sent to the city-state of Lilienburg to conduct espionage as a double agent. Codenamed Monroe, Vetra arrived in the city in 1978 and entered the Lilienburger intelligence’s radar after she proclaimed herself to be a defector from Hytekojuznia, a rare occasion throughout the Great Game, and that she had information in regards to the Hytekojuznik government's inner workings. In 1979, she was recruited to the Lilienburger intelligence service under the false alias Emily Kohlberg, a supposed Hytek Hesurian whose details had been seized during the 1960s underground raids in Grobina. Vetra conducted espionage for seven years in Lilienburg without detection, but was recalled to the Red Fist headquarters in Krasno along with the cancellion of Operation Shackle upon the outbreak of the Hytekojuznik Civil War.
She conducted spy work in Juznia for the Hytek government and was a noted associate of Aivars Muceniece, her work resulted in the early successes of the Hytek guerrillas, particularly in Laukape and North Uznavas, and also acquired documents pertinent to Juznik war plans in the west. Despite Hytekia losing the civil war and Juznia being granted independence, Vetra continued her spy work for another two years and participated in espionage related to the First Grobina War, ending in a Hytek reclamation of the Lake Sigismund port city. She retired in 1991 with full honours, being awarded the People’s Award for outsanding work in the field of espionage. Her whereabouts were unknown during the Second Grobina War and subsequent Erdaran occupation, but faced trial in international courts in 2001 for the murder of Erik von Melderis, of which she was pardoned.
