Maia Räikkönen (27 August 1922) is a retired Rubrumian soldier and intelligence officer who served under the Special Operations Executive during the Second Europan War.
Born in Finlandia, her family fled to the west to flee during the 1924 Imperial Invasion of Finlandia. Her family first arrived in Gallia, before ultimately deciding to reside in Rubrum. Here, Maia grew up in Toronto where she was later recognised for her wits. When the Second Europan War began, she enrolled in the King's Military Academy of Hamilton, where she practised decoding and deciphering. She would eventually become an intelligence officer following her graduation and was transferred to the field as both an intelligence officer and operative under the SOE, where she would later be a member of Crown Company.
She is the grandaunt of Imperial defector Kati Räikkönen and the grandmother of Gallian officer, Eleanor Varrot.
