The city of Geoffray (Cavalan pronunciation: [ɡœfʁe]), more commonly known in Neragese as Godfrey is the capital and most populous city of Cavala. With a combined population of over 2 million inhabitants, in an area of 112 km², Godfrey is one of the most densely populated cities in both Oranland and Gentu. Once located only in the county of Vieux Geoffray (Old Godfrey), it has since expanded outside of Le-Grand-Godfrey and into neighbouring Balada and Bassera provinces. Together with Lombarda to the east, it forms the most populous metropolitan area in the country, referred to as the Godfrey-Lombarda Greater Area (Agglomération de Geoffray-Lombarda).

Straddling the upper region of the Godfrey Estuary, Godfrey is regarded as a global city and hub. Godfrey is also often referred to as one of Gentu's capitals of culture, finance, and media. It significantly influences commerce, entertainment, art, fashion, sports, technology and research, education, politics, and tourism. Additionally, the city plays host to the headquarters of the Economic and Social Council of the Union of Realms.
