Marindra, officially the Province of Marindra is a land-locked province of Carloso. Located in the mid-west of the country, as of the 2017 census it had a population of 16,087,030. To the west it borders Mercurea and Arascay, Sirune and Cartalusia to the north, Viruna and Valender to the east, and Menerissa to the south. By area it is the third largest of Carloso's provinces, behind Badasca and Cartalusia. With a landscape defined by rolling hills, pastures and forests, Marindra is a major agricultural region of Carloso, producing a large portion of its dairy and beef. The mountainous and hilly north-east of the province is a major area for sheep farming. The capital of Mostolt is a major metropolitan centre of industry and culture, including the prestigious University of Mostolt.
