History
Arrival
The demonic invasion of the Sparkalia by the Tēhonī began in 50BR with the goal to make a permamnent foothold and possibly terrform the entire planet. However, the invading forces were starting to get bogged down in 20BR due to the hostile environment and to solve this issue created the Jūkata. They were created by the Tēhonī for the purposes of use as living warmachines and soldiers that could adapt to the environment within a single generation. When they were first deployed in 10BR they traveled across the land and raised nations at lightning speed making their way towards volcanoes to establish reproduction camps. Using the blood gathered from the battlefield with demon glass weapons new Jūkata were created and to be added to the army after going through training, however before the first batch of new fighters could be sent The Great Reset happened collapsing the demon gate and wiping the minds of the invaders of their mission. Without memory many gathered into tribes in search of volcanoes while others became wanderers and adventurers travelling the world.
Classical Era
Usually divided into three periods: Early Classical, Middle Classical and Late Classical. This era saw the foundation of early Jūkata republics which would later go on to dominate the entire archipelago and define future Kaido culture and political thought. This era is characterised by long periods of war between the republics, establishment of trade routes with the Magian City-States which led to the intordution of new luxury goods and limited cultural exchange with eventual adoption of Magian by some republics. However by ?AR the previously profitable trade routes brokedown due to the establishment of the Magian Kraterocracy leading to economic turmoil and cultural stagnation as a result of which the republics lost their prominence. Nepotism, corruption and populism which already existed before was exhasterbated and the Jūkata republics ceased to be, becoming either military dictatorships or psuedo-monarchies which constantly fought with each other over the remaining resources. After the final major war all the nations in the archipelago with some minor exceptions were absorbed into the Ganin Republic(Magian:虫人国, Ganinkoku) lead by M, forming the Chinotsuki Empire(Magian:血の月帝国, Chinotsukiteikoku) in ?AR ending the classical era.
