Gyousuu (Senrian: 교우쑤우, Gyousuu; Gyoumon: 幸州) is an island in the Senrian archipelago, and the smallest and southernmost of the "main islands" of Senria. It is located to the southwest of Yuusuu across the Rakkomon Strait and to the northeast of the Hibotu Islands across the Sei'i Strait.
[geography and climate]
Much of Gyousuu's population resides in the city of Nobeoka and its metropolitan area, located in the island's southeast, where most of the island's arable land is located. [population and economics] Gyousuu is connected to the island of Yuusuu by an undersea railway tunnel spanning the Rakkomon Strait and to the Hibotu Islands by ferry.
