The Battle of Heimdallr (7 October 2042 - 7 January 2043) was a military campaign that took place during the Deseleni War. It marked the climax of the ambitious Operation Anicetus, the Seleucid invasion of the Erebonian Empire and the countries in Zemuria. It took place between October 2042 to January 2043. The Allied defensive effort frustrated Seleucus I Michael's attack on Heimdallr, the capital and largest city of the Erebonian Empire. Heimdallr is the primary military and political objective of the Selucid Empire in the invasion of Zemuria.

Codenamed Operation Typhoon, called for two pincer offensives, one to the east of Heimdallr against the Lucis Commonwealth Forces by the 3rd and 4th Grand Armies, simultaneously cutting off allied reinforcements to Heimdallr, and another to the west of Heimdallr against the combined ERUAC, Calvardian, and East Europan Forces at the vicinity of Trista by the 1st and 2nd Grand Armies. while the 5th Grand Army advanced directly to Heimdallr from the south.

Initially, the Allied forces conducted a strategic defence of the Heimdallr AR by constructing defensive belts, deploying newly raised reserve armies, and bringing troops from Western and Northern Erebonia. The success of the Allies during the Battle of the Kattegat Strait allowed the Imperial Army of Erebonia, as well as other Allied armies in Western Erebonia to sail their forces across the strait from Kongsberg to Aldinshire and hitting the advance of the Selucid forces hard. As the Selucid offensives were halted, an Allied strategic counter-offensive and smaller-scale offensive operations forced the Selucid armies back across the border of Heimdallr AR and the Sutherland province. Half of the Selucid 5th Grand Army was cut-off by the advancing allied forces landing from Aldinshire and the Allied forces pushing out from Heimdallr.

Coupled with the strong resistance of the civilians and scattered partisan groups, the Selucids were forced to call off their attack by 7 January 2043, ending their belief in a swift Selucid victory over the Erebonian Empire and beginning the retreat of the Selucid forces from Erebonia.
