The Darcsens are Europa's oldest indigenous race, said to have lived across the continent since ancient times. They are characterized by their dark blue-black hair and shawls or various accessories bearing the traditional Darcsen pattern.
History tells of a "Darcsen Calamity" in which this race devastated the continent until the Valkyrur defeated them in the War of the Valkyrur. For their crimes of senseless destruction, the Darcsens were stripped of their last names and chased from their jobs and property, and remain the target of hatred and persecution.
Many of the Darscens were exiled into other lands, making them one of the largest indigenous races across the world with over a population of 25.5 million. Today, persecution and hatred against Darscens are lower and less. The passage of the Darscen Emancipation of 1830 by the Lucis Parliament was made in effect to lower the discrimination against the Darscens living within Lucis Sovereignty (Gallia-Bruhl included) but still it persisted until 1945, when the Second Europan War ended.
History
Arrival of the Darcsens in Europa
Ancient Greecia and the Hellenistic World
Darscen tribes have been recorded to have poured into Greecia during the latter years of the Greecian Dark Ages. Various tribal leaders have ruled over multiple Greecian city-states, and eventually, they grew accustomed to Greecian culture, and assimilated to it subsequently while preserving their roots.
Numerous amounts of Darscens have been recorded to serve in the army of Alexandros the Great, fighting with him in battles like in Halicarnassus, Tyre, Gaugamela, and the Hydaspes. Subsequently, various military settlements were made for the Darscen soldiers that wish to start a new life in another land. Some examples are Alexandria Eschate, Alexandria on the Indus, and Alexandria Bucephalus.
Eventually after the death of Alexandros, his successors divided the Empire into four parts as a result of the Wars of the Diadochi. In the northeast of Greecia, Eryalus I Cuanous, one of Alexandros's bodyguards, established the Eryalid Kingdom that ruled over Thracia, Northern Macedonna, and Western Milites. They would have conflicts with the Antigonid Empire over the middle land that would last for 30 years.
Darscens during the Hellenistic Era prospered greatly, as they enjoyed a good lifestyle within Greecian standards. Even so, the Greek alphabet was adapted into use by several Darscens tribes as the result of the influence of the Eryalid realm. The end came after the division of Dath'Remar's empire and its subsequent conquest by the Valkyrur. It climaxed into the Valkyrur conquest of the Eryalid Kingdom, where the last Eryalid king Lysimachus XV Philobalkyruaeus surrendered his realm to the Valkyrur, which ended Darscen prosperity in Europa.
