Kubani is the seventh-largest city of Zalluabed and the administrative center of Qahaza province, with a population of 221,500 people. Kubani is located on the coast of the Emmiria Sea, on the eastern end of the Qahaza Peninsula, and houses a deep water port and several docks for the Royal Zalluabed Navy. Founded in c. 331 BCE by Cryun III, Kubani grew rapidly and became a major center of Adulan civilization. Prior to the 21st century, Kubani was a popular tourist destination and an important industrial center due to its natural gas and oil pipelines and proximety to the Tarijar Strait. However, since the outbreak of civil war in 2023, Kubani has been a key point of contention between government and rebel forces. In November 2023, Suhaib el-Dar Moussa's Kubani Unit operating out of the city carried out a large-scale drone attack against Albarinean and Emmirian ports, as well as ships in the Strait.
