The Lu Dynasty (Early Dào: 鲁朝), often referred to as the Great Lu State (大鲁國), was the ruling dynasty of Daojing from 1515 until the abolition of the monarchy in 1927. Founded by Lǔ Gāozǔ, better known as the Yǒnghé Emperor, the dynasty arose following the collapse of the Dai Dynasty, with the Lu military elite consolidating power in the aftermath of the Dai's weakened hold on the region. The dynasty's founding was marked by a sweeping transition from feudal divisions to a strong imperial authority that emphasized stability and cultural cohesion across the realm's large populations. The dynasty lasted until the Qīqí Fǎnlùa Revolution of May 1927, culminating in the abdication of the last emperor, Zhānguāng, and the establishment of the Nationalist State of Daojing in 1927. The Ly dynasty assembled the territorial base for modern Daojing. The Lu controlled the most territory of any dynasty in Daojing history.
