Pons Michaud (11 June 1896 - 8 July 1964) was a Gagian military leader who served during the First and Second Great Wars. During the First Great War, Michaud enlisted in the Gagian Army in 1914 and was deployed with the 9th Infantry Division to the León Monarchy. Michaud was eventually promoted to the rank of Sergeant. In 1917, Michaud gained renown within his division when he fended off a Khakmadoy melee charge with a beer bottle and disarmed artillery shells, for which he was awarded the Médaille du bénévole. After the First Great War, Pons Michaud briefly retired from service before rejoining the army in 1925, having been offered a commission as a lieutenant. By the onset of the Second Great War, Pons Michaud had attained the rank of Brigadier General. He would later reach the rank of Lieutenant General, where he led the expeditionary forces of the 5th Corps in southern Stratea.
His hometown's airport, General Pons Michaud International Airport, is named after him, as well as Agen's Pons Michaud Memorial Bridge.
