Diana (Diana Angelie Wolff; born 4 January 1981) is the reigning monarch of Rhodevus and of the the Rhodeve Commonwealth and Territories, known as the Commonwealth Kingdoms. On June 10 2007, Diana became Head of the Commonwealth and Queen Regent of Rhodevus. She is also Queen of The Ile du Fleurs and the Imperial City of Rhode.
Diana was born in Kingstown and was educated primarily at political and military boarding schools across the Kingdoms. Her father ascended to the throne as King Benner I in 1980 after his father King Isaac died, handing the power to Benner; his son and an experienced WWII Naval Commander and later Admiral of the Navy. Diana was named the Heir Héréditaire at her birth, a position denoting her as the hereditary heir presumptive, even though this position held no actual power or authority. She began to undertake Public Duties in 1996, during the second Economic Surplus. She is at the present moment single.
Major events during Diana's reign have included the second Economic Surplus, The James' Wars, The Ispanzan Crisis, Rezuan Civil War and many other events. There have been times of personal sorrow for her which include the death of her father at 78 and brother at 22. Diana has occasionally faced severe press criticism of her royal lineage and republican sentiments, but support for the monarchy and her personal popularity remain high.
Early Life
Diana is the first child of Admiral Benner, leader of the Rhodeve Royal Navy (later King Benner) and his wife Mrs. Amelia Wolff (nee High-Sparrow). She was born on January 4, 1981 at 4:30 pm (KGT) at the Kingstown Medical Centre, 192 Burton Street. She was named Diana after her deceased grandfather on her mother's side, David Hermill. Her close family and friends called her "Little Lion".
Diana's only sibling, Prince James Micheal Wolff was three years younger. The two siblings were first educated at home by their own personal teacher Ms. Mariana Deluri, who was casually known as "Delur". The lessons concentrated on Languages, Math and Music. During this time, Diana learnt how to play the piano, flute and clarinet.
Her parents sent Diana to public school for the first four years of elementary school (Senior Kindergarten through Grade 3), before sending her to boarding schools across the country. The change of school setting was not to give her an upper-hand in Rhodevus, as many early critics have suggested, but to keep the school safe from potential attacks on her life. One such attack occurred on March 18, 1988, when a shooter was apprehended in her school, hoping to take her life. In order to keep public classes running smoothly without royal guards following her and her brother around, James and Diana were sent to the Kingstown Military Boarding Academy for the next two years, and then to other boarding schools and military academies throughout their childhood.
Diana quickly gained recognition for being a talented mathematician and public speaker, gaining her the nickname by her teachers; "The Baby Ambassador".
Heiress Héréditaire
During Benner's life
Diana Wolff spent much of her time as Heiress Héréditaire travelling around Rhodevus to help the lower social class, and travelling around the world as an ambassador for Rhodevus.
At the young age of 15, while still in high school, she entered the political spotlight, joining the Rhodeve Green Party as a Junior member and international correspondent. A year later, she began her own news service, writing, editing and publishing short articles written by children and young adults explaining the political system of Rhodevus as well as its shortcomings and comparing the system to other systems around Sunalaya. The publication is still being run to this day (now known as the Children's Gazette [1.1 million readers]).
Choosing the diplomacy route for her time in the Rhodeve military, she was trained as an international ambassador and spent time speaking with world leaders and other diplomats across Sunalaya; primarily Rhodevus's allies, Commonwealth Members and Trade Allies. Following the completion of her military term in 2001 and graduating Summa Cum Laude from Imperial City University (ECU) in 2005 with degrees in Mathematics and Physics, Diana took a position as Head Ambassador for Rhodevus, in the International Relations Department. She left the Rhodeve Green Party in 2001 before being conscripted into the military.
As Head Ambassador, Diana spent the majority of her time abroad, talking with foreign ambassadors and diplomats and reporting back to the Minister of International Relations on how to improve embassies and consulates around the world. Following the death of King Benner and the reading of his will, Diana was in Ispanza, helping to negotiate new trade terms.
King James' Wars
Diana spent most of the King James' Wars in a maximum security prison. There, she was tortured for information. During her time in the prison, she received her now famous scarred lower lip and missing knuckles on her left hand. Diana has maintained high confidentiality about what happened to her during this part of the war, but many critics believe her torture included psychological and physical abuse; possibly even sexual abuse and assault.
In October 2006, Sir Richard Weivar, the commander of the anti-James forces in Rhodevus created a special forces task force tasked with finding and rescuing Diana Wolff. The task force was comprised of hand-selected members of multiple commonwealth nations' militaries. Yestin McTavish (Shastaran), Francis Biin (Rhodeve), Lexi Quinn (Ispanzan) were among the members of the task force. In February of 2007, Diana was discovered and rescued.
The Dark Months
Following her time in prison and after her rescue, Diana became reclusive. She spent most of her time in the Imperial Palace, allowing for her Premiers and other staff to handle most public affairs. Diana did however spend most of her time working behind the scenes to bring about government and educational reform for when the King James' Wars ended.
During the Terror Crises following the main civil war portion of the King James' Wars, Diana worked with local, provincial and national police forces to capture Brotherhood members and informants. This lead to a two week long purge of over 143 individuals in various levels of government, police and military branches and businesses being arrested for collusion and cooperation with the Bannerless Brotherhood.
With the death of her general and god-father, Sir Richard Weivar, Diana was forced out of hiding to lead the memorial for the Richard Weivar Memorial Cemetery. She would spend another 3 months post-war in the Imperial Palace, before she returned to form as an active and upfront leader.
Reign
Following her installment as monarch, and after the James Wars, Diana began reforming and monarchy and reshaping Rhodeve life. Almost immediately, she installed an Advisory Committee which was a group of randomly chosen civilians to help choose her secondary advisers. She changed the Rhodeve Government Expenditure layout to improve environment, education and industry budgets and lower the funds being sent to the military. She boosted the economy and civil rights of her citizens and grew on the international stage.
Queen Diana has lead Rhodevus through many international incidents, including the Ispanzan Civil War (2009), Rezuan Civil War (2011) and the Senkarian Civil War (2016).
In 2013, Queen Diana officially released a statement telling the world that Rhodevus had destroyed its final remaining nuclear stockpiles, becoming one of the first nuclear powers to lose its nuclear power status. The queen also stated that it would continue to purchase nuclear warheads from other nations and dismantle them, using the nuclear materials as fuel for Rhodevus's nuclear reactors.
Public Perception and Character
Finances
Queen Diana's fortune has been the subject of speculation for many years. It is estimated that her wealth is 32 million $R (64 million NSD), but there has been no confirmation of this number from either the government nor Diana herself. Kingstown Daily estimated her wealth at 114 million $R (228 million NSD). She inherited 15.7 million $R (31.4 million NSD) from her father King Benner Wolff, and godfather Sir Richard Weivar. Brevin News has placed the highest estimate at 328 million $R (656 million NSD).
All sources agree that the vast majority of her wealth comes from the Rhodeve 'penny tax', which places a single cent of tax on all purchases made in Rhodevus. When asked about her supposed wealth, Diana maintains the stance that all unused wealth of her is funneled back into Rhodevus through programs which she personally supports, including the International Galleon Races, Three Trees United and Shelters for Homeless.
The Royal Collection, which includes thousands of international and national historic works of art and the crown jewels, is not owned by the Queen, but held by her in trust, as are her official residences, the Imperial Palace. All the collection and residences are officially owned by the Soul Tree (Kho'hitn); meaning the Rhodevus Sovereign, and are valued between 8 and 13 Billion $R.
Family
Queen Diana Wolff is the daughter of the late-King Benner Wolff (deceased 2006) and Amelia Wolff. King Benner died in March, 2006, passing the throne down to Diana; although this lead to the James' Wars. King Benner had all the titles of a monarch of Rhodevus, before passing them on to his daughter. His current titles include Admiral and his late-majesty. Amelia Wolff was never given a true royal title, but through her native lineage has gained titles of her own, which have also been passed down to Diana. Amelia Wolff, once known as High-Sparrow, is one of three children remaining of the High-Sparrow lineage, which since circa. 1100 have held the title of 'One of the River Warriors', signifying them as past chieftains. She is a Toa te Awan native. This title will now forever be linked to the Wolff family tree, starting with Diana.
Diana's late godfather, Sir Richard Weivar died in late 2007 at the conclusion of the James' Wars. There have been circulating rumours that Sir Weivar is Diana's true father, due to the closeness shared between the two early in Diana's life. There has yet to be any conclusive proof or factual basis for these claims.
James Wolff died in 2007 during the conclusion of the James' Wars alongside Sir Weivar. Technically a king for the short time during the James' Wars, all titles he has held have been stripped from him posthumously due to his starting of the Rhodeve Civil War; included in the James' Wars, which bear his name.
Diana has a godmother and god-cousin. Sir Weivar's wife and son; Veronica Wievar and George Weivar hold this closeness to Diana. Veronica and George often are seen spending the Christmas Holidays with Diana in the Imperial Palace.
Diana's aunt, two uncles and seven cousins on her mother's side are not particularly close to Diana, although they do visit each other from time to time on an irregular schedule.
Diana's son, Bellami Yestin Wolff was born on March 2, 2017.
Personal Life
Diana is missing two knuckles on her left hand (top pinky-finger and top middle-finger). She also has a few small scars all over her body, the only one that is noticed in public is on her lower lip. All her injuries were obtained while at the Imperial City Solitary Maximum Security Prison during the Rhodeve Civil War. It is assumed that more has happened while imprisoned, but exactly what is still up for debate. She has pierced ears but no other piercings. She does not have any tattoos. She currently has a single child; son Bellami Yestin Wolff.
Diana is a vocal representative of environmental well-being, donating large sums of money to multiple green charities across Rhodevus.
Queen Diana Wolff has many hobbies, but the most well known are hiking, rock-climbing and off-roading. She has often remarked that she has hiked in nearly every country in Sunalaya. She has also climbed Mount Benner; the tallest mountain in Rhodevus, among other tall mountains, during her youth. Diana was once proficient in the piano, flute and clarinet, but is quite out of practice in all three. Diana is still the official Head Editor for a newspaper she began in high school known as the Children's Gazette (currently 1.1 million readers). A very common sight around the Imperial Palace, is to see Queen Diana in the kitchens, cooking meals along with the kitchen staff. She has loved cooking since her mother began teaching her at the age of 3. Although it still remains a secret, Diana has often helped in the cooking of large meals that are served at international dinners and meetings held in Rhodevus. The final hobby of note is Diana's passion for Kuhngya-wei; a form of Sukansi; one of the two primary martial arts styles originating in Rhodevus. (She also loves mathematics, but that was her education, not so much a hobby)

They are often seen together at dinner or at fairs and carnivals. Anne is also the godmother of Diana's only son, Bellami Wolff.
