Air Scovern, stylised as AIRSCOVERN, is the national flag carrier of the Kingdom of Scovern. It is the second-largest airline in Scovern in destinations offered and passengers carried, behind the budget airline Konlunde, but remains its largest by annual revenue. Air Scovern offered direct flights to 73 international destinations and a further 4 domestic destinations. The airline is a founding member of the airline alliance UnitéCéleste.
First founded during the Great War in 1930 as an air cargo company, Air Scovern was transformed into a passenger airline and began operating in 1951. Initially its flights mainly served other cities within the Euclean Community, but began branching out to international destinations in the 1980s. The growth of Konlunde in the 2000s jeopardised many of Air Scovern's routes, and in the late-2000s it came to rebrand itself as a primarily business and luxury airline, emphasising comfort and a high quality of service.
History
Air Scovern's predecessor was Skovernsk Luftfragt, a wartime air cargo company founded to support Allied soldiers on the Northern Euclean Front against Gaullica. The company was rebranded into the commercial Air Scovern in the 1940s, and in 1951 it took its maiden flight from Rimso to Kalstad and became Scovern's flag carrier. International services were added gradually in the 1960s with the increase of commercial aviation, and many of Air Scovern's inaugural domestic destinations were handed to its subsidiary CARN, who continue to run short domestic flights.
Air Scovern was Scovern's most popular airline until the 2000s, when the explosion in budget carriers saw Konlunde overtake it in short-haul flights to Euclea, as well as in its passengers carried. Scovern's government refused to step in to save Air Scovern's market share, and in 2009 many destinations were axed and the airline looked to rebrand itself, pivoting towards the business and luxury travel market. Air Scovern's business class was rated the world's best in 2016, 2018, 2021 and 2022.
Destinations
Air Scovern offers services to 75 international destinations and 4 domestic destinations. Most international destinations depart from the hub of Rimso–Fejøbugt International Airport.
Alliances
Air Scovern is a founding member of the UnitéCéleste airline alliance, which it has participated in since 2001.
Air Scovern has codeshare agreements with the following airlines:

Cabin
First class
Business class
Air Scovern's business class is available on all flights departing from its main hub of Rimso–Fejøbugt International Airport. The business cabins feature reclinable seats that can extend into 2.2 m (7.2 ft) long beds, privacy partitions, a 22 in (56 cm) TV screen for in-flight entertainment, reading lights, overhead lights, a small mini bar, an extendable foot rest on the seat and massage functions built into the chair. The airline's business class is consistently ranked as one of the top in the world, and was voted the best in 2016, 2018, 2021 and 2022 by L'Aviateur, an independent air travel magazine.
Baggage allowances are usually two checked-in bags and one additional carry-on, while weight limits differ depending on the destination and aircraft.
Economy class
Economy class seating comes in 2-4-2 or 3-3-3 patterns. Each seat is equipped with USB charging ports, an overhead fan and reading light and 12 in (30 cm) in-flight entertainment screens with headphones. Newer aircraft may also include bluetooth connectivity in their in-flight entertainment systems, so passengers may connect their own bluetooth devices to the entertainment system.
On long-haul flights, meals are complimentary. Passengers receive one meal for flights between 3–7 hours in length, while flights longer than 7 hours have two complimentary meals. Drinks and snacks may also be provided free of charge, though this depends on the specific flight. Refreshments are available to purchase on all flights.
Baggage allowances are typically one check-in bag and two carry-on bags. The check-in weight limit is 20 kg (44 lbs). Extra bags and/or weight can be purchased at Air Scovern check-in desks.
