The International Sunalayan Football Association (ISFA) is a non-profit organization which describes itself as the international governing body of association football, beach soccer, and efootball. It is the highest governing body of football.
FIFA was founded in 1888 to oversee international competition among the national associations across Ventismar. Headquartered in Tonnes, its membership now comprises most national associations. The 36 member countries must each also be members of one of the five regional confederations into which the world is divided: Ventismar, Dogmana, Corentia, Ophion, and Divergian.
Today, ISFA outlines a number of objectives in its charter and is responsible for the organization and promotion of football's major international tournaments, notably the Men's World Cup and Women's World Cup. ISFA set the rules of international footbal. All ISFA tournaments generate revenue from sponsorship. ISFA Is governed by a board of directors which are representatives made from ISFA's governing states - Layfet, Felnesia, Shastara, and Librira, which appoint the ISFA Chairman and Deputy Chairman.
ISFA runs on a regional system, with each nation having its own branch of the body to regulate the sport in that nation. ISFA-Layfet for instance runs both the LayLeague and UniLeage. The notable exception to this rule is Felsinia, which has a permanent opt out.
