Stratos I is one of Stratos's two significant moons, and orbits the planet at a distance just shy of 146,000 kilometers, whilst being in 1:2 resonance with Stratos II.

The moon appears slightly blue-green in places thanks to its high copper and nickel salt concentrations, similar to that of Stratos, though much of its surface is covered in a layer of fine regolith, covering up most of its coloration.

Formation

Stratos I is thought to have been formed through a collision of a smaller body with Stratos in the early stages of the Tendor System's formation, similar to that of the Anterian Moon. The hypothesized collision would have ejected a large amount of debris into orbit around the planet, most of which fell back onto Stratos, while what remained in orbit coagulated to form what is now Stratos I.

After its formation relatively close to Stratos, the moon slowly migrated outwards while slowing down the planet's rotation, and it likely could've migrated as far as 500,000 kilometers from the planet if Stratos II were not captured. Currently, the moons are still slowly migrating outwards, though by the time the even Stratos II leaves the Stratoshian sphere of influence, the sun most likely would have left main-sequence a long time ago.

Orbit and Rotation

Stratos I is tidally locked to Stratos, similar to that of Stratos II, while it completes an orbit every 6 3/4 days or so. Due to it being tidally locked to Stratos, only around 50% of the moon is visible from the planet's surface, similar to that of the Anterian moon.
