Tousuu (Senrian: 또우쑤우, Tousuu; Gyoumon: 東州) is the second-largest island in the Senrian archipelago and one of the "main islands" of Senria. It is the easternmost of Senria's main islands, located to the east of the Toyozimon Strait from Kousuu, to the south of the Sazanami Strait from the Isotama Islands, and to the west of the Rangyoku Strait from Shangea's Kaoming Peninsula.
[geography and climate]
Historically a center of cultural contact and exchange between Senria, Shangea, and Satria due to its location near the Bay of Bashurat, Tousuu was devastated by the Great War and the Senrian Genocide, and only recovered after a prolonged period of reconstruction. This reconstruction involved the migration of many people from other parts of the archipelago, which changed many aspects of the island's local culture. The island's largest city is Ukyou, home to 5 million people within its city limits; other important urban centers include Sakata, Sekiguti, and Hisakawa. [economics] It is connected to the Kousuu both by road and rail.
