Aranse, officially the Province of Aranse is a province of Carloso. Located in the west of the country, as of the 2017 census it had a population of 8,225,060. To the west it borders the Musgorocian Ocean, Sargos to the north, Mecurea to the east and Arascay to the south-east. The Cadena Islands lie off Aranse's north-west coast. It is notable for its beaches and is a major tourist destination. The province's capital of Portadia has the largest ferry terminal in the country outside of Madrigal, and is a major port for cruise liners crossing the Musgorocian Ocean to and from Hasua. As of 2023, a rail tunnel from Portadia to the Cadena Islands was being built by Carlosian Rail.
