The Constantine University of Adtrus (Vierz: Konstantin-Universität zu Adtrüs, KU Adtrüs or KUzA) is a public university located in Adtrus, the capital city of Vierzland. The university was established as the "Constantine Imperial University of Adtrus" (Vierz: Konstantins Imperatorische Universität zu Adtrüs) by Vierz emperor Frederick I in 1798. The university's namesake draws from Constantine the Great, the first emperor of the Vierz Empire. The word "imperial" was removed from the name in 1991 after the dissolution of the empire.
The university consists of seven constituent colleges: Biological Sciences, Social Sciences, Humanities, Physical Sciences, Medicine, Business and Economics, and Mathematics. There are 35,000 students enrolled in over 200 disciplines at the bachelor, master, and doctoral level. The university maintains four separate campuses within the city.
The university is consistently ranked as top three in Vierzland and top 50 in the world. It is a well-regarded research institution with membership in national and international scientific research organizations. Its notable alumni are business leaders, award-winning mathematicians, writers, and scientists, and heads of state, government, and international institutions. It is part of the P7 League, a government organization of prestigious Vierz universities.
