Elected President

Sebastijan Ilić
Luepolan Workers' Party

The 2017 Luepolan presidential election was held on 3 and 24 April 2013. The first round of voting saw incumbent president Sebastijan Ilić of the Workers' Party win a significant plurality but not a majority; thus, a runoff was held between him and the Republican nominee Miroslav Šalaj. The second round of voting resulted in a narrower victory for Ilić.

Prime Minister Marek Vládović, himself a Republican, resigned from the prime ministership shortly after Šalaj's defeat. Ilić appointed Sabina Škupovna in his stead, thus making her the first woman to serve as Prime Minister.
