This overview of education on Sparkalia that includes both early and late stages of education.
Primary and Secondary Education
Japuile
The Grand Duchy of Japuile has free state and private education. Both types of education have their own target group, focusing on the best teaching of the next generation and earning, although the government also provides additional funds to random schools in the country every year. Compulsory education ends with secondary school at the age of 18. Compulsory education starts at the age of 5, although many parents can in some way start teaching their children as early as 2 years old, at home. The type of schools that students can attend is really diverse, from high schools to art schools such as music or painting and sculpting. University and industry education is considered superior, because both things can be done in reputable institutions - be it craft, tourist or theoretical.
Kursibar
Education in Kursibar is free and mandatory from ages six to sixteen, and consists of three stages: Heia (equivalent to primary school in other countries), Ua-Heia (similar to secondary school in other countries), and Employment School (similar to a two-year university). Additional education is available in a variety of sponsored schools and universities. Heia lasts eight years. Students are given a basic education in Quoman dialects, mathematics, natural sciences, history, geography, engineering, physical education and visual and musical arts. Ua-Heia lasts for three years and includes three traditional types of schools focused on different subjects: the Quallan prepares students for university studies with a classical or scientific curriculum, while the Qua-Ste'a and the Qua-So'an prepare pupils for vocational education. The Employment School is solely focused on forming apprenticeships and finding students careers.
Ostrov
Ostrov has a single, comprehensive schooling system. Many towns will have their own schools, both at primary and secondary level, where town-dwellers attend; they follow a loose curriculum centred around core subjects such as Common, Lurynian, mathematics, the sciences, history and geography, although many schools choose to deliver arts and physical education as well. Homeschooling is legal under the common law and practiced by many farming families. While most Ostrovians will leave school aged eighteen, the more intelligent town-dwellers will attend the Polytechnic of Ostrov, a Southport-based university which specialises in science, medicine, engineering, mathematics and economics.
Leviathan Federation
The Leviathan Federation heavially values education being that there are both Public and Privet Schools in the nation. Both are considered Prestigious. there are even Free Public Collages. It is mandatory that people learn Basic Math, Leviathan Standard which is a combination of English, German, and Russian. as well as social skill Physical Education. And where driving is considered a nessessaty in the modern age driving courses are mandatory in middle school and where Military Weaponry is common in the Leviathan Fedheavilyeration Gun Safety is mandatory from kindergarten to grade 14. And even collage.
Leviathan also provides free collage for those who wish to seak higher paying jobs and qualifactions. it has become common practice with the competition for workers who are qualified Researchers, Secretaries, Programmers, Electritions, and Nuclear Physassits for corperations to donate heavially into the public education system.
