Emilia, Hereditary Princess of Montgisard (Emilia Héloïse Olympe Palmyre; 1 May 1997), also known as Princess Emilia of Sydalon, is the wife of Gabriel, Hereditary Prince of Montgisard.

She is the first child of King Jordan IX by his second wife Héloïse Baudelaire. She is twenty-third in the line of succession to the Sydalene throne.

Biography

Emilia was born on 1 May 1997, at St Philip National Hospital in Ostracine, as Emilia de Aultavilla de Toron. She became the first member of the Sydalene Royal Family to be born in a hospital. At the time of her birth, her parents were unwed, though would later marry in 1999. Due to being born out of wedlock, her birth was not announced during a nationwide broadcast as was typical of royal births at the time. She was the first child of King Jordan IX born during his reign. She was legitimized upon the marriage of her parents on 14 April 1999.

She was baptized at Cathedral of the Holy Sepulchre by the Archpriest of the Holy Sepulchre on 12 June 1997 using water from the Yarden River. Her godparents are Desiderius, Prince of Petra (her elder half-brother); and [Héloïse sibling?]. She was given the middle name Olympe upon her baptism. Throughout her childhood, Emilia primarily resided at Palis de Aultavilla, in Ostracine, though was largely kept out of the public eye.

Education

Emilia was among the first members of the Sydalene royal family to attend formal schooling. Like her younger brother, Alfonse, Emilia attended Lyceu ta'Aradia and later Lyceu St Gabrijel. She earned her baccalauréat from Lyceu St Gabrijel in spring 2018.

In 2016, she enrolled at All Saints' College in Ostracine.

Marriage

Emilia's personal life has largely been kept out of the public eye at her father's request. In 2018, she began courting Gabriel, Hereditary Prince of Montgisard. She and Gabriel married in March 2019, at Sephory Castle, in Montgisard. She and her husband currently reside in Ostracine where he is a member of the Queen's Haut Cour.
