Currently, president is Sergej Napiчu, entering a second term in May 2020. President can be elected for maximum of 3 terms and can be removed by impeachement by the High Court of Zhousheng. In the state of war, control over the armed forces (MUZHRA), go to the hands of the president. President is responsible for representation of Zhousheng behind the borders as well as doing ceremonies for Zhousheng (awarding vetarans, giving awards to people who deserved it for the service to Zhousheng, seeing play premiers in the national theatres, communicating with foreign ambassadors...)

The first military chairman, Þeodor Korolin, ascended to prevent a civil war during the time of political instability.
 
In January 1915, after the Kandan square bombing, which kickstarted the [[Zhoushi Troubles]], Peter Petroviч, a chairman of the Zhoushi Union, has decided to resign prematurely and cede his power to Þeodor Korolin under the military terms agreement. Þeodor Korolin quickly moved to step against the revolutionary movement, quickly responding to any threat from both revolutionary cells and Haldenian separatists. Under his leadership, the Troubles were successfully suppressed until the surrender of the Haldenian separatist self-proclaimed duke David Salman.
 
His actions, however, were highly controversial and after his military term ended, he was denied a second term (good to note, that he didn't attempt to gain it at all costs). After a court ruling, he was aquitted of every crime he was judged for, having been backed by virtually every political movement in all of the Union except the Communist Party. Þeodor Korolin later went to lay the grounds to the Party for Better Tommorows, which survived to this day, although the more conservative branch broke away to create the Zhoushi Conservative Party.

The second military chairman, Benjamin Totoj, was quickly put to power as a five-star military general during the outbreak of the [[War of the Council]], being put in front of the biggest threat Zhoushi Union has ever faced. His special coordination skills between Bogmian and Zhengian miltiaries and his support to the creation of the [https://iiwiki.us/wiki/War_of_the_Council#A_push_for_the_central_range Southern Force] managed to turn the tide of the war against the Council State and eventually pave the way to the creation of Zhoushi Federation.
 
His main legacy is the ban of the Communist Party (which was later allowed to re-establish itself in 1984 under special limitation) and creation of a balance and harmony between Zhengian and Bogmian politicians, which allowed the creation of the Zhoushi Federation.
 
After his chairmanship went to win elections and created the Zhoushi Federation he became a president of, until his resignation in the favor of democracy in 1944. Benjamin Totoj later went to fund cultural life and was known for his theatre plays ''Za zvjezdө ȝimerickө'' (Following the chimeric star) and ''Slavnostƞe ꝛikamy'' (I am solemnly saying).

Oleg Pogөf (president 1976-1984) is known for his self-determination policies, having been supporting self-determination movement in non-Zhoushi areas of Zhousheng, having eventually lead to the creation of [[Zaprei Autonomy|Zaprei]] and [[Storvan|Storvan]] autonomies.
 
His other policies included work towards national unification, which culminated close to the end of his second presidency on January 1st 1984 with a creation of the New Year's Integration Bill, which officially created one "Zhoushi" nationality, specified a rules on the new nation and officially renamed the country from the Federation of Zhousheng to the Federal Republic of Zhousheng, reforming dualist federal structure and giving power of the federal subjects ([[Bogmia]] and [[Zhengia]]) to local federal governments (federal districts).
 
The New Year's Integration Bill has been often called the "most influential bill in the history of Zhousheng" and although being subjected to a lot of scrutiny and protest at the time of signing, it is generally agreed, that the signing of such bill had a immeasurable positive impact on the present situation of Zhousheng. In retaliation to this bill, the New Evolution Party was created to oppose it (this party has reacher barely a 1% of votes in the last 3 elections, having almost dropped out of the race).
 
Under his leadership, the Institute for the maintenance of Zhoushi language was created, tasked to create and maintain a literary version of the [[Zhoushi language]].

Ulman Чuчlik (president 1984-1996) is known for his globalist policies, having been one of the main actors, that created deeper ties within the [[Shanghou Pact]] and later in creation of the [[Sekidean Union]]. Some of his ideals, such as unified currency and federalization with [[Monte Blanco]] later came to existence ([[Sekinar]] was adopted in 2012 and [[Mustelaria]] was created in 2017).
 
His manifesto ''Za santif pomeƌi narody'' (For the peace between nations) later inspired Mustelarian Prime Minister Jeliþo Pogөf, who has based upon the ideas presented in the manifesto decided to write a declaration, that later became the [https://iiwiki.us/wiki/Anterian_World_Assembly#World_Peace_Manifesto World Beace Manifesto], which lead to the creation of [[Anterian World Assembly]].
 
Many people in the present label him as a "visionary with too much visions", as some of his proposals are too idealistic to be put to practice. No matter, his legacy is seen as a one of success.

Zhousheng (Zhoushi: Ʒөшeng, originating from the Beihua: 州聲 (Pinyin: zhōu shēng; Bopomofo: ㄓㄡ ㄕㄥ)), officially the Republic of Zhousheng (Zhoushi: Republika Ʒөшeng), is a independent country in Elezia, on the continent of TBD, bordering TBD. It was formed in TBD shortly after World War I from the Zhoushi Union, which was a colony. It is officially an unitary democratic state.

Currently, president is Sergej Napiчu, entering a second term in May 2020. President can be elected for maximum of 3 terms and can be removed by impeachement by the High Court of Zhousheng. In the state of war, control over the armed forces (MUZHRA), go to the hands of the president. President is responsible for representation of Zhousheng behind the borders as well as doing ceremonies for Zhousheng (awarding vetarans, giving awards to people who deserved it for the service to Zhousheng, seeing play premiers in the national theatres, communicating with foreign ambassadors...)
