The 2017 Luepolan presidential election was held on 5 and 23 April 2017. The first round of voting saw no candidate secure a majority; thus, a runoff was held between the Republican nominee and frontrunner Savo Grigorević, and the Workers' Party nominee Petăr Novak. The second round of voting saw Grigorević successfully defend his lead against Novak, who condeded the following morning.
Then-incumbent president Sebastijan Ilić was already serving his second term as President, and was thus ineligible to run for re-election.
