The Vitosian music industry is the third largest in the world. Vitosian music includes many different styles and genres, as a result of its history and diverse influences. Popular genres include rock (classic, alternative, hard, electro-rock), metal and pop. Vitosium's music industry is the fifth largest in the world, producing many internationally renowned artists. Vitosium has developed a music infrastructure that includes academies, performing arts centres, record companies and radio stations. Vitosium's music broadcasting is regulated by the Vitosium Radio, Television and Telecommunications Federation (VRTTF). The Vitosian Institute of Recording Arts (VIRA) presents the country's music awards, including the Tobosa award, which was first established in 1967.
