Apelia, officially the Apelian Republic (Apelian: République Apellaise), is a sovereign country in western Patyria. It is bordered by Borland and Vierzland to the northeast, Lairea and Granzery to the east, Lemerum, Tierada, and Camardocia to the south, the Cercian Ocean to the north and west. Apelia consists of 27 provinces and three municipial areas, one of which comprises Belens, the most populous city on the continent.
