The president of the Quetanan Republic is the executive head of state of Quetana. The powers, functions and duties of prior presidential offices, and their relation with the prime minister and cabinets have over time differed with the various Quetanan constitutions. The president serves a five-year term and can be reelected. The current president is Emília Medeiros, who won the 2021 Quetana general election and succeeded António Brafeo, who had been in office for an extended term since 14 January 2016.
