The Quetanan Air Force is the principal aerial warfare force of Quetana, a part of the Quetanan Armed Forces and consists of 47,500 enlisted personnel, 20,000 of whom are reserve. The branch participates in conflicts worldwide and is the major air-based offensive and defensive force of Quetana, and also serves as a contingent of the Coalition of Crown Albatross's peacekeeping operations. It also operates as a central organ of the WEDA military agreements, and is largely supplied and trained by the Zamastanian military.

Aircraft

The Quetanan Air Force has over 700 aircraft in service as of December 2020. The bulk of the air force's equipment is supplied by Zamastan, although the Quetanan-made AV-44 Varrie is also in the arsenal. The fighter aircraft of the QAF are small, fast, and maneuverable military aircraft primarily used for air-to-air combat. Many of these fighters have secondary ground-attack capabilities, and some are dual-roled as fighter-bombers (e.g., the Z-14 Osprey); the term "fighter" is also sometimes used colloquially for dedicated ground-attack aircraft, such as the Z-17 Condor.
