It is bordered to the west by Remeria, to the east by Villera, and to the south by Vonzumier. Preisland's capital and largest city is Crimnitz. The land was sparsely settled by Patyrian colonists, who used it primarily for sugar cane cultivation, resulting in the importation of hundreds of thousands of black Tusolan slaves. The land was given to Borland in 1610 after its victory over Apelia in the Eastern Patyrian War. With the end of First Apelic War in 1766, Preisland was annexed by the Vierz Empire as a province of Prince Otto's Land under the terms of the Treaty of Tillena.
