The Autumn Offensive, known by the Joyongheans as the General Offensive of Ssu Gapsin Jeongsi, comprised a series of Allied attacks instigated against the Quenminese and Archadian armies who were on the defensive after the Liberation of Yeolcheon. The offensive saw the Quenminese-Archadian front divided in two, and consequently left the Allies to seize the chance to isolate the components, and Cheon decided to take on the aforementioned Component and drive them north.
