Putin Strait

The Putin Strait is a body of water in Astyria flanked by Haguenau, Nikolia, Noordenstaat, Earent, and ViZion. It is a vital military and economic waterway, dividing two key continents in Astyria - Teudallum and Lorecia. At the eastern mouth of the strait sits L'Isola Grande, a key island held by ViZion that controls the entrance.

Connects to Mederano Sea to the northwest.

Connects to Actlpacinarcticadian Ocean to the southeast.

Alternative Names

While officially called the Putin Strait, locals in ViZion calls it the Lumcia Strait, after the two continents it divides.

Bhormakaro, who used to have coastline along the strait before losing land to the expansion of the ViZionarian Empire, calls it the Medactl Strait after the two seas that it separates. Bhormakaro still insists this is the official name, and refuses to recognize it as the Putin Strait.
