Igor Petrušić (LuepolanИгор Петрушикь) was a Luepolan military commander and statesman who became the first elected head of state of the First Luepolan Republic. Petrušić commanded the anti-monarchist contingent of the Luepolan Army during the Luepolan Revolution of 1818, defeating and deposing the reigning monarch Ratimir II. Taking inspiration from his Tieradan contemporary Antonio de Caberra, he established and entrenched the foundations for a republic, such as free elections, freedom of speech and of the press, and the separation of the powers of head of state and government. Petrušić also played a prominent role in the Caberran Wars, leading the new republic to victory first over the Vierz Empire in 1822 alongside Tierada, then alongside the Vierz against Tierada in 1827. To this end, Petrušić is further credited with securing and safeguarding the beginning of republicanism in Luepola, even as Caberra's own republican movement was defeated.
