Jorge Dávid Spalderán NA (born 19 November 1968) is a Carlosian stateman, barrister, writer and Army veteran who served as the 41st Deputy President of the Executive Council of the Federal Republic of Carloso from 11 February 2011 to 11 February 2021. He was the Deputy Leader of National Salvation from the party's formation until 30 April 2020. Spalderán has been a National Assemblyman for Valender's 22nd constitutency since 2001. He is the son of former President of Carloso Adán Spalderán, who served between 1996 and 2001. Outside of politics, Spalderán is known as an author on both common law and the canon law of the Catholic Church.
Spalderán was born and raised in Leron, Cantera Circuit, the eldest son of Adam and Marsella Spalderán. His family is largely of Scottish and English descent. He served in the Carlosian Army during the Bourgougian Blitz, seeing action in the Battle of Arceneaux and the Liberation of Victory. After leaving the Army in 1992, he studied and obtained degrees in law, graduating from Ebon Metropolitan University in 2000 with a Juris Utriusque Doctor. In 2000 he was elected to the National Assembly for Valender's 22nd constituency, joining his father Adam. Aligning himself with the traditionalist wing of the party, he became close friends with Cárlos Tobón and Estebán Santander. He qualified as a barrister in 2003. Spalderán became a leading figure during the Corrective Revolution in 2010, and defected from the the Conservative Party to help form National Salvation, becoming its Deputy Leader. On 11 February 2011 he was elected Deputy President of Carloso by the 42nd National Assembly. On 30 April 2020 Spalderán stepped down as Deputy Leader of National Salvation and announced that he would not seek a third term as Deputy President of Carloso, intending to return to the backbenches in the future. He was succeeded by Estebán Santander.
On 4 June 2024 he was appointed Chief Adviser to the Revival Conference, the think tank of National Salvation succeeding Alejandro Hiroyuki upon his dismissal.
