Foreign policy

Lu is considered to be amongst the strongest advocates of south-south cooperation in Shangea and a confrontational policy towards Euclea. Lu has stated that a Shangean-Zohist sphere of influence exists in South Coius and Shangea has a "privileged interest" in that region. Lu has outlined Senria, Kuthina, Ansan, Duran, Siamat and Nainan are part of said sphere and that without colonialism all nations would cooperate under Shangean guidance. She has called Werania, Estmere and Etruria " inter-continental bloodsuckers" and accused the three countries of imposing a functionalist, corporate government over Senria.

Lu is considered to be in the pro-socialist camp in the Shangean government supporting closer ties with Chistovodia. During the 2022 Hacyinia-Lavana war Lu made no public comment.

LGBT+ rights

Lu has been associated with homophobic rhetoric. In 2018 she stated that she believes that "normal marriages" do not include single-sex relationships and that non-normal relationships are comparable to bestiality and incest. In 2021 Lu introduced laws restricting the display of LGBT+ issues in Shangean media; when the introduction of the laws were condemned by Caldia's government and cultural groups like DEO Lu referred to Caldish citizens upset with the law as "degenerate crybabies".
