The Bethausian Civil War is an intrastate conflict fought in Bethausia during the Imperial Crisis from 15 May 2017 to 21 August 2020.

The conflict began with the Twelve Generals' Rebellion where a military coup and multiple insurgencies were instigated by twelve generals of the Tatmadaw lead by Senior General Kaung Thura Kan. With the royal government driven out of Kengkaw, the generals solidified their hold on power in the capital by forming the State Reconstruction, Development and Preservation Council, later known as the "Socialist Republic of Barmia" or "Barmia." In the south, the royal government established its seat in Paungthoung in the Taninthayi Region. For almost a year, the two sides became locked in a stalemate, until the 2-11-18 Nationwide Uprising forced the junta to suppress internal rebellions and strain its military power. In mid-2018 to early-2019, the decisive victories of the Royalist-planned Assault on the Pyamalaw and Ridge 55 effectively battered Barmia's military resolve. The remaining years saw the junta struggling to keep its power over its territories, until the Battle of Korodo forced the junta to accept an unconditional surrender on 21 August 2020.

The internal conflict became one of the bloodiest in the Imperial Crisis. Repression and genocide against the Aasialainers committed by the junta added to the body count. An international tribunal helped to bring the junta's crimes to account, and lead to the incarcerations of General Kaung and the remaining members of the junta.
