Erigia, or Urbs Erigiana (Amalfitan, meaning Erigian City), is a city in Amalfi, located on the far southwest coast in the Occidens Australis. It is the capital of the province of Vericis and the administrative centre of the district of Erigia. It has a population of 1,027,292, making it the fifteenth most populous urban area in the country and the most populous in the Occidens Australis.
Founded in the mid-1200s by Montesardi settlers from Trotsbelden-Skirvpont, Erigia is the heartland of Amalfi's neko population. The city existed as an independent state until it was absorbed into the Amalfitan republic the 1600s. In the 1930s, Erigia and its surrounding regions received a further influx of Montesardi nekos fleeing unrest at home. Since 1975 it has hosted an honorary consulate from Montesardo-East Adanzi.
Erigia is a major administrative and commercial centre for the Amalfitan southwest. It serves as a principal transportation hub for its region, with a large seaport and Erigia Felix Airport connecting it to the rest of the country and Borealia as a whole.
