The Armed Forces of Amalfi (Amalfitan: Forziæ Armatæ Amalphiæ) encompass the Amalfitan Army, Amalfitan Navy and Amalfitan Air Force. A fourth branch, the Cohortes Urbanæ (Amalfi's police force), was included in the Armed Forces until 1986, when it was made an independent body. Amalfi's armed forces also provide defense for the Republic of Amador.
