The Amathian Armed Forces (Amathian: Ⱇⱁⱃⱌⰵⰾⰵ Ⰰⱃⰿⰰⱅⰵ Ⰰⰿⰰⱚⰹⰵⱀⰵ , tr. Forțele Armate Amathiene), officially the Armed Forces of the Amathian Democratic Republic (Ⱇⱁⱃⱌⰵⰾⰵ Ⰰⱃⰿⰰⱅⰵ ⰰⰾⰵ Ⱃⰵⱂⱆⰱⰾⰹⰽⰹⰹ Ⰴⰵⰿⱁⰽⱃⰰⱅⰵ Ⰰⰿⰰⱚⰹⰵⱀⰵ , tr. Forțele Armate ale Republicii Democrate Amathiene), are the combined armed forces of Amathia, formed by the Amathian Land Forces, the Amathian Naval Forces and the Amathian Air Force. The current commander-in-chief of the Armed Forces is General Vasile Porascu, under the management of the Ministry of National Defense, while the Presidency of Amathia serves collectively as the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces in times of war.
While claiming the lineage of the military forces of many periods in Amathian history, starting with the Solarian legions of the Empire of Arciluco, and considering itself the direct continuation of the Royal Amathian Armed Forces, the current military of Amathia is the result of the reorganization of the military units which remained under Amathian authority following the Amathian Revolution and Amathia's secession from the South Euclean People's Republic.
