The 2013 AMF World Cup was the 23rd AMF World Cup, the quadrennial world championship for international men's association football teams. It took place from 12 June to 14 July 2013 and was hosted in various cities across Vierzland, with the finals being held in Adtrus National Stadium. The event is considered by many fans, pundits, and players to be one of the best World Cups ever held. Over 3 million people attended the tournament in person, with over 2.5 billion watching it on television or the internet. It remains both the most expensive and most-watched sporting event in world history.

31 teams went through various qualifying tournaments to attend the tournament, with Vierzland automatically qualifying as the host nation. A rivalry matchup between Luepola and Vierzland occurred in the semifinals, with Luepola winning 5–4 in penalty shootouts. In the third place match, Vonzumier beat Vierzland 2–1; these matches, considered a major embarrassment in Vierzland, resulted in the controversial decision of Vierz chancellor Kaspar Vahl to not attend the finals match. Luepola beat Apelia in the finals 2–1 in overtime, securing the country's first men's football championship in history. Luepolan striker Alois Čolak was deemed Most Valuable Player at the tournament.
