Marvisia (pronounced /mɑrˈvɪsiːə/) is a city in Amalfi. It is the capital and northernmost city of the province of Avalinium, and with a population of 5,648,175 is the fourth most populous urban area in the country.
Marvisia came to prominence in the 7th century AD as a member of the Triple Federation, the alliance which would go on to become the modern Amalfitan state. It is the seat of the Supreme Court of Amalfi.
