Chanceflicker

The Chanceflicker is a thaumaturgical device, using Lyria Threading. It carefully spins threads of causality, to shift events of the world into a certain direction. A classic application of the Chanceflicker is in the form of what on first glance looks like a wristwatch. But the longer one looked at it, the more weird and cryptic details one noticed. Wrong amount of hands, wrong shape, wrong ticking. It makes the chaotic events of the coincidental world turn more in the wearer's favor. Trains arrive on time, rain comes when one needs it and leaves when one doesn't, one luckily meets important people when they are in a good mood. Many small things like that, making life easier.

Aurora Apollyon

Project Aurora Apollyon was performed by Estate Luxensmith in cooperation with Tepror & Nishikaigan. The goal was to create a weapon of demonstrative doom.

Apollyon Herald

The Apollyon Herald is a grand black flying vessel, the shape reminding somewhat that of a manta ray, about 200 meters in wingspan. On its front there is a gyroscope-like mechanism of spinning and glowing rings, the Apollyon Cannon. Within it a scarlet radiant sphere, sparking and pulsating, like a small, imprisoned sun about to explode. It looks imposing and ominous. The Herald was constructed with an outer shell of Sapphire-Krit, shielding from physical attacks but vulnerable to magical influences, and an inner shell of White-Iron, to avoid esoteric influences reaching the construct's inside. The Herald is covered with a variety of defensive and offensive weapons, both magical and conventional, ready to wreak havoc and inferno.

Cannon & Pearl

The Apollyon Canon uses a special type of munition, Apollyon Pearls, large menacingly scarlet blazing orbs. Upon shooting the Pearl, it will explode into what looks like a scarlet-glowing, rapidly-spinning, galaxy-like disc. Horizontally from the disc, downwards and upwards will rain red blazing strands, engulfing sky and ground in scarlet flames

Fey-Fire

These flames are highly magical. Bright, erratic, colorful flames. It is wild, unpredictable, and vibrant like a rainbow. It spews blaze and frost and lightning and love and hate and glory and pain. Very difficult to control and extinguish once ignited, and easily spreads and jumps around. But can also spontaneously dissipate as fast as it appeared, usually after it burned out its "Feyishness".

Vexspark-Syrup

Vexspark-Syrup is a magical liquid mixture created in Indefinite Color. It is largely mana, meddled with in many ways to make it a lot more volatile, especially reacting to conscious thought. It was developed to be injected into a person, who then will have the mana resources to cast spells. Because the Vexspark-Syrup is volatile and easily reacts to conscious thought, even those unskilled in Sorcery will be able to expend the mana for effects. Yet the substance is highly dangerous und unpredictable because of its volatility. The liquid is translucent, sparkly and of a constantly shifting color, with sticky a syrup-like consistency. It is sweet and tastes of hundreds of fruits mixed together.

Trivia
Vexspark-Syrup was developed by Indefinite Color as part of a cooperation with the nation of Tepror to enhance them with magic. Indefinite Color supplies Tepror with the substance. They created a device with a container filled with Vexspark-Syrup. Through tubes the fluid is injected into an individual, who can than cast primitive spells. Tepror is inhabited by a species called Skimtari, who have the ability to amplify energy flowing through their brain. They therefore inject the Vexspark-Syrup directly into their brains, to maximize efficiency.

In the official narrative, Tepror has nothing to do with the substance and no interest in acquiring it.

Exakrita

Gemstones and crystals are carriers of certain aspects, depending on the type of gem. Exakrita is a type of thaumaturgical technology that utilizes gemstone components, sparking their aspects and evoking a tailored effect.

Rubido

Rubido is typically associated with amplification and intensity. Rubido is sometimes called Ruby-Krit, as the typical carrier-stones are red rubies. Rubido may be used to momentarily enhance momentum to absurd values. This may be used for the displacing of vehicles, or to increase the fire-power of weapons. It is useful as a special component in many kinds of machinery.

Sedefa

Sedefa is typically associated with constancy and defense. Sedefa is sometimes called Sapphire-Krit, as the typical carrier-stones are blue sapphires. Sedefa may nullify incoming external momentum, not reacting to being hit, useful as an armor or protective hull. Sedefa also can protect deterioration of an object, structure, or place.

Material

White-Iron

Repels or reflects magical and other esoteric influences.

Black-Iron

Attracts or absorbs magical and other esoteric influences.

Sorcery

A type of magic that comes from a so-called source. It requires magical energy to cause effect, called Mana, which isn't a specific substance, but rather an umbrella-term for all types of substances that can act as sorcerous magical fuel, which can come in many forms. Mana can be contained in a person, or come as crystals, liquid, gas, or more. Most sorcerers' bodies produce their own Mana. But Mana can also come from an external source. sorcerers have the ability to shape mana with their will to create the desired effect. Movement, emotion, speech, music, and general presentation can help steer the effect. Wands and other items can help, even if just a regular wooden stick, because they give a certain direction, feel, and presentation to the spell. Because Sorcery is mainly about mindset, feel, and presentation of the the Sorcerer.

Units

Minx - Sorcery Energy

Quantity of magical fuel to produce magical effects. Magic is volatile and unpredictable, but as a guideline, 1 Minx is to be thought as equal to a spherical fireball explosion of 5 meter diameter, or to about 1 Million Joules. 1 Minx of Mana is about 100 $.

Vex - Sorcery Power

Minx per Second. Magical power output. 1 Vex as a power source is about 100'000'000 $.

Wands & Staffs

Morningstar Warcaster

A black-golden-red staff whose tip reminds of a morning star. The staff can be used as a focus by a sorcerer, but also contains it's own power source. right below the tip there is a cylindrical compartment where a capsule of liquid mana can be inserted. The magic of the Morningstar is very destructive, and designed mainly for military purposes. The full extent of the library of effects are dependent on the sorcerous talent, technical skill, and imagination of the wielder. Popular uses include: local storms of blaze, a great red laser, thrown flaming explosions, high-momentum penetrating magic missiles, a shattering force, and mass-induced fear.

It is also a great tool for aesthetics and performance, creating small effects, glitter, light, smell, smoke, and making a music box play itself.
